  1. I really enjoyed this class. I never looked at the world from moving from an agricultural age, to an industrial age, to an information age.

In my opinion, I think that the next age will be what I call the "Mental Age." Although this is just a conjecture of what I believe will precede the information age, and the likelihood that the age preceding the information age will actually be called the "Mental Age" is slim, I think the concept will remain the same.

Allow me to explain. Every age improved the last age. How can we improve the information age (emailing instantly, watching two shows at once, flying to the other side of the world in hours)? We have to use 100% of our brain.

One day, we may be able to mentally communicate with others who are miles away. That would improve the email!

  2. Each class I begin to learn more and more about different technologies that we can leverage in our business and professional careers. I found the example of the video that Dr. Sistrunk posted from animoto to be highly beneficial in advertising business and using it in e-mails. I actually created one of my own for my non-profit. http://youtu.be/xyL5y29OfGA.

I appreciate the fact that we take a look at the past and trends that existed. The most important trend I found was the employment disparity and the increase of wealth for the one percent. Additionally, how the Dow Jones is projected to grow 16 times in the next 10-15 years! So its time to invest :)

  3. I thought learning about the agricultural age was very intriguing because it has been around since the beginning of time and is one of the main reasons we are here today. Our people to find a way to live by judging times of season to grow food in the best way and now we have machines doing it. This is awesome that we are getting to learn about it now as well.
