  1. This was a really interesting class. After you showed us the Property records site, I jumped on and started messing around with it. I searched some familiar names and was able to pull their property data up. I've always known this information was public's knowledge, but never knew where it could be found. Since I am from the US Virgin Islands, I googled "VI Property Records." Surely enough, they came up. I pulled up my own residence and saw the value, and how much my family was taxed prior years. It's amazing the amount of things that are out there, you only need to be pointed in the right direction to know where to discover it.

  2. I am happy that we are finally learning these excel shortcuts. Personally, I think it would be even more valuable as a freshmen to have a class like this for exposure purposes. Nevertheless, I can't wait to intern next summer because I know I'll be a lot more efficient this go round.

  4. I thought that this was an interesting class. I have personally used excel when working at my summer internships so I understand the importance of using tables. These tricks shown in the youtube videos made it a lot easier to navigate through the different spreadsheets and locate individual information that would otherwise take hours to find. I felt that this was an extremely effective class and exam, and more practice would be excellent.

    1. Its amazing how essential a tool such as excel is in business today. I was reading 'Why should white guys have all the fun' and it struck me that they had whole floors of accountants that would not have even been necessary if they had some of the tools that we have with excel today.
